 Minot Commission on Aging - To Assist Senior Citizens With Independent Living

Our purpose is to provide senior citizens with assistance so that they can remain in their home as long as possible.  Our programs include:  Foot Clinics, Meals on Wheels, Congregate Meals, Senior Citizen Information and Referral, Parker Senior Citizen Center.

Information and Referral

Home visits with senior citizens to identify needs and connect individuals with community resources to help them remain living in their home.

 

Transportation

While the Minot Commission on Aging does not provide transportation, there is door to door transportation available through Souris Basin Tranist.  Please make all bus reservations the day before you need a ride at 701-839-7433.

 

Home Delivered Meals

Hundreds of volunteers deliver meals to senior citizens in the 7 county region every week. For menu information please click here  August 2010  menu.doc. 

Frozen Meals

Our frozen meals are a great alternative to most frozen meals found in the grocery stores. The meals are flash frozen and maybe oven baked or microwaved. To order please call 701-852-0561.

 

Congregate Meals

Hot meals are available at several sites in our 7 county region.  For meal site and times please click here  

 

Health

Foot services are provided to assist seniors with related needs. Please see Senior Services for further details.

 

 

The Parker Coffee Shop

The coffee shop is open to the public Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm.  We offer daily breakfast and lunch specials.  We have meeting rooms available to the public for business and organizational meetings.
